SEI Hands-On Training in Mesa, AZ next February

AEE Solar is sponsoring two Solar Energy International (SEI) training workshops in Mesa starting with a Beginner Grid-Tie PV class the week before our 2nd Annual AEE Solar Dealer Conference and followed by an Advanced PV class the week after. Both are 5 days long and offer valuable hands-on experience. Completion of both SEI courses fulfills the education requirement for NABCEP certification. Click one of the links below to register.

Beginner Grid-Tie PV training

Learn how to design a complete solar electric (photovoltaic) power system in this 5-day, 22-hands-on class. Gain technical skills and a strong foundation in PV design and safe installation of solar-electric systems. Learn system sizing, site analysis, hardware specification, and component selection of both off-grid and grid-tie systems.

SEI's PV Design course is accredited by the Institute of Sustainable Power (ISP) and helps fulfill one of the requirements for national photovoltaic certification. By receiving a 'Certificate of Completion' in this course, you qualify to take the NABCEP PV entry level "Certificate of Knowledge" exam. See the NABCEP website for more information.

Advanced PV training
February 23-27, 2009, 9 AM - 5 PM each day SOLD OUT To get on the waiting list, please fill out the registration form.

Designed to follow SEI's PV Design & Installation workshop or the PV Design Online course with the next level of design criteria and also maintenance issues and troubleshooting skills. This course heavily emphasizes the United States National Electrical Code as applied to PV systems, and is especially useful for people who currently work in or plan to be employed in the PV industry.

EI's Advanced PV Course is accredited by the Institute of Sustainable Power (ISP) and will fulfill the education requirement for Category B to take the PV NABCEP certification exam. See the NABCEP website for more information.

REQUIRMENTS: You must be a graduate of the "Grid Tie (Utility Interactive) PV" course, "PV Design Online" course, or "PV Design and Installation" course before you can take the Advanced PV course, unless you get special permission from the SEI instructor. And of course you must be an authorized AEE Solar dealer.

FEE: $945 to our dealers for these SEI training events.

NOTE: Registration is limited to 54 people for the Beginner Grid-Tie class and 27 people for the Advanced class, so be sure to register early!
